Our Mission Statement
We are the Las Vegas Cocker Rescue. We are a breed specific rescue. Our mission is "to PROTECT and SAVE" cocker spaniels from kill shelters, owners who are unable to keep them, and from wandering unprotected on our streets. Every single member is very passionate about what we do. That passion for helping God's little creatures from harm, and our love for cocker spaniels has brought us together to form the Las Vegas Cocker Rescue.
This website is to help us help "them". We would not be able to do what we love to do without you. Thats why we are always seeking help, whether it be in the form of monetary donations, adopting a cocker, giving of your time, fostering a cocker until we find its forever home, and etc.....
We wanted this website to help educate the public on the growing popluation of this breed in shelters, and also to help understand the cocker spaniel as a breed. Every cocker spaniel is different in looks, size, temperment and so on. We also wanted the time you spend on our site to be amusing, and informative.
Cocker Spaniels are FUN!!!
Thank you LVCR!
Because of you, we now have our own forever home. We all came with different stories, but now we will share the same happy life. Love,
Corky, Cadie & Coby

Policy for Owner Relinquishment
- Up-to-date on shots
- Clean bill of health
- Spayed/neutered
- Micro chipped
- Foster until adopted
Las Vegas Cocker Rescue has had an extreme influx of owner relinquished dogs. We are here to help, but please remember that we are a nonprofit organization and are operating on donations and volunteered time and services. We will lovingly search out the best possible home for your pet, but we need your help and cooperation. If your pet is not up-to-date on shots, spayed/neutered, or micro chipped, we will work with you to procure these services for you at a discounted rate. We cannot afford to take on this responsibility for you. We will also request that you foster the dog until we are able to find a suitable home. This is best for the dogs so that they may only need to transition one other time, and this prevents us from using our limited foster resources. Remember, we are here to help, but we are not in the business of aiding and abetting irresponsible pet owners. Please contact us for more information. We will consider all extenuating circumstances.
Policy for Adoptions
*We will consider out of state adoptions with references, but not out of country
**In the spirit of ensuring our cockers have found their forever home, we will refund the adoption fee with return of the cocker within the first 30 days of adoption if things are not working out, but please consider it typically takes 3 weeks for your cocker to transition into their new life.
We try an honor placement based on adopter's choice of cocker and the order in which applicants have applied and completed home visit if there is multiple interest in the same cocker; However our ultimate mission is to always consider what is best for the cocker and the decision of placement will be made on this at the descretion of the LVCR member
